PLENARY with keynote address by DELORES HUERTA
IN THE EVENING WE WILL BE JOINED BY UP TO 150 LEADERS FROM OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO PREPARE FOR DEMOCRACY DAY.
THURSDAY, December 4th is DEMOCRACY DAY:
Begins with an insurance action
Other GAMALIEL members bussing in just for Democracy Day will begin joining us for an Immigration Action at the Cannon Office Building
From their we will spread out across capital hill to introduce Congressional Delegations to the values of the Gamaliel Platform in visits to their offices on Capital Hill.

t 3 p.m. as our numbers swell to 2,000 people as we are joined by leaders from nearly 300 other community organizations and our partners, the Center for Community Change for Realizing the Promise at the Washington Hilton.
At this event our leaders strategize with members of congress and the transition team members about the common good in 2009!
Return in the evening for to enjoy ILA company and to evaluate the day.
